The President (or former according to the MPP) of the Provincial Assembly of Kinshasa expressed surprise at the news of his dismissal fell in the afternoon this Thursday 06 October 2017.

Roger Nsingi formally rejected his eviction, claiming that he remains the President of the Provincial Assembly of the city of Kinshasa and calls the initiative of the MPP a “biased approach”.

“It is the President of the Assembly who convenes the plenary,” Nsingi told Top Congo, referring to procedural flaws during the plenary session of his dismissal, which was led by his Vice-President Francis Mbengama.

As a reminder, 39 MPP of Kinshasa voted for the dismissal of the President of the Provincial Assembly, Roger Nsingi, to whom they reproach, among other things, financial mismanagement and incompetence.
